Brattleboro Memorial Hospital announced its Comprehensive Breast Care program has been re-certified by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

FDA officials visited the hospital on June 13 to review technical and physician ongoing education, and to evaluate quality control measures, equipment, hospital policies and other information.

Under the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA), recertification is conducted annually to ensure quality standards are maintained or exceeded by technologists, Radiologists, the hospital and equipment.
