Hospital Blood Drive a Success

Brattleboro Memorial Hospital held its first blood drive of the new year on January 16 to assist the local chapter of the American Red Cross.

Debbie Partrick, RNC, nurse manager for the BMH Birthing Center, coordinated the hospital’s efforts to pre-register donors. Overall, 43 staff members and volunteers donated, including two people who had never previously given blood.

“The dedication and continued support of the employees and volunteers at the hospital is heartwarming,” said Partrick. “The Red Cross was appreciative and awed by our response.”
