Belly Dancing Classes Offered at BMH Starting Oct. 11
Brattleboro Memorial Hospital is offering an eight-week belly dancing program starting Thursday, October 11 in the BMH Exercise Room.
Belly dancing is a gentle way to exercise and further develop posture, flexibility and coordination. Guided by instructors Dawn Kersula and Robin Rieske, participants will learn belly dance movements and choreography in a fun, supportive environment.
The program is open to all ages and ability levels. Classes meet weekly through November 29 from 5:15 to 6:30 PM. Cost is $13 per week or $80 for the entire session. Advance registration is available by calling 802-257-8877.
Dawn Kersula is a member of the BMH nursing staff who began belly dancing to enliven her Lamaze classes. Robin Rieske has been dancing over nine years and currently dances with Troupe Sahibat.
