BMH Hosts Mediterranean Dinner and Healthy Eating Discussion, May 2
Brattleboro Memorial Hospital will host a public dinner featuring low-fat Mediterranean fare and a presentation on healthy eating at 5:30 PM on Wednesday, May 2 in the Brew Barry Conference Center
During the dinner, Burton Tepfer, MD, a cardiologist at BMH, will discuss how to determine the validity and usefulness of the various studies and research that we hear about every day in the news. In particular, he will review the role of vitamins in heart health.
Diners will have a choice of grilled Atlantic salmon with farro vegetable pilaf or seared tofu with farro vegetable pilaf for an entree. Other menu items will include a tossed garden salad with homemade vinaigrette, Red Hen bread, and lemon cake made with local Greek yogurt.
Seating is limited. Call 802-257-8331 before April 27 to make reservations. Cost for the dinner is $11.95 per person. When making reservation, please specify salmon or vegetarian option.
