BMH Hosts Panel Discussion on End of Life Care Planning

Brattleboro Memorial Hospital and Visiting Nurse and Hospice of Vermont & New Hampshire present a panel discussion entitled, “Start the Conversation Early: Planning for End-of-Life Care” on Monday, October 22 from 6:00-8:00 PM in the BMH Brew Barry Conference Center.

The presentation will address why it’s important to plan for end of life care before it becomes a worry, discuss end of life care options and how to put one’s wishes in writing, and suggest ways to start the conversation with your family and health care provider.

Panelists include Agnes Mikijaniec, ARNP (BMH Oncology and Hemotology), Dan Caloras, MD (Hospice Medical Director VNA/VNH), Carole Lechthaler, RN, MS (Facility Liaison VNA/VNH) and Sue Church (Pastor VNA/VNH).
