BMH Hosts Prostate Screening Discussion, May 16
Brattleboro Memorial Hospital is offering a free presentation entitled “The Prostate Screening Controversy: What’s a Man to Do?” on Wednesday, May 16 at 7:00 PM in the Brew Barry Conference Center.
Prostate cancer is the most common non-skin cancer in men. In light of the recent draft recommendations from the United States Preventative Task Force, Craig Rinder, MD, will offer his perspective on whether men should be tested for prostate cancer and whether PSA tests are saving men’s lives or resulting in more suffering than benefit.
Dr. Rinder is a board-certified urologist and the BMH Director for Men’s Health. He has 30 years of experience diagnosing and caring for men with prostate cancer.
