Names Dr. Albright as Chief Medical Officer
David
Albright, MD, has been appointed to serve as the first
BMH Chief Medical Officer. This role, which is part-time,
will assist the Medical Staff and the hospital administration
in areas such as quality, patient safety and regulatory
issues. The appointment took place on November 1, 2007.
Dr. Albright, who practices with the Brattleboro Primary
Care Group in the Gannett Building on the BMH campus,
will continue his clinical practice as well.
Dr. Albright received his medical degree at Hahnemann
Medical College and served both his internship and residency
at Allentown Hospital, all in Pennsylvania. He is board
certified in internal medicine, and has a fellowship
in infectious diseases from Boston University.
