The CDC Diabetes Prevention Program is a free year-long evidence based program designed to help adults at risk with developing type 2 diabetes. Participants work in a small group environment with a lifestyle coach who will help them adopt and maintain a healthy lifestyle. This group meets weekly for 16 weeks and then monthly for 6 months. The CDC Diabetes Prevention Program is a free year-long evidence based program designed to help adults at risk with developing type 2 diabetes. Participants work in a small group environment with a lifestyle coach who will help them adopt and maintain a healthy lifestyle. This group meets weekly for 16 weeks and then monthly for 6 months.
