A not-for-profit institution, Brattleboro Memorial Hospital provides primary and acute medical care to more than 2,000 inpatients each year in its 61-bed facility. More than 2,500 surgical procedures are also performed annually at BMH, a large number of which are same-day surgery. In addition, the hospital provides many services for the benefit of area residents, including provision of close to $2.3 million in free and charitable care each year. These services are rendered with the professionalism and warmth that has made BMH an excellent community healthcare facility for the last century.
In the interest of promoting health and wellness in our community, BMH offers a variety of screenings, educational seminars, health classes and healthy dinners, and other events.
