Comprehensive Breast Care Program

The Brattleboro Memorial Hospital Comprehensive Breast Care Program provides integration of all aspects of breast care, in a friendly, professional manner assuring national standards of quality care are met. BMH cancer services locally include surgery, medical oncology, chemotherapy, physical therapy, dietary counseling and survivorship programs. Our “state-of-the-art” imaging includes digital mammography, ultrasound, bone densitometry, CT scanning and stereotactic biopsy. BMH is planning to offer breast MRI technology. Most of these services are located in the Richards Building.

For those services not available locally, the BMH Breast Care Program will help refer and coordinate additional care. Breast Care Program Nurse Navigator, Kelly McCue, RN, OCN, CHPN, is available to assist with all of our breast patients’ needs. The Medical Director of the Program is BMH general surgeon, Joseph Rosen, MD, whose subspecialty is breast surgery. Administrator of the Program is Agnes Mikijaniec, RN, APRN.
