Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab

The Cardiac Rehabilitation Program is a comprehensive 12-week outpatient program of risk factor modification, education, and exercise. The program is nationally certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. This program is specially designed for people recovering from heart attacks, heart surgery, angioplasty/stenting, or continued angina symptoms. It blends individual exercise, education, and group support into a model approach for regaining health, independence, and help in avoiding future cardiac events. Also offered is an exercise only maintenance program for Cardiac Rehabilitation graduates.

The Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program is a comprehensive ten-week outpatient program of education and exercise. The program is nationally certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. This program is specially designed for people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and other chronic diseases of the lungs. It blends individual exercise, education, and group support into a model approach for regaining health, independence – and to help avoid hospitalizations. Also offered is an exercise – only maintenance program for Pulmonary Rehabilitation graduates.
