Healthier Living Workshop for Chronic Disease
May 29 @ 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, repeating until June 5, 2019
If you are dealing with a long-lasting (chronic) disease like arthritis, cancer, obesity, or heart disease, you are not alone. About half of all American adults have at least one chronic disease — 1 in 4 have two or more. These chronic diseases can lead to disability and serious health problems. But the good news is that there’s a lot you can do to manage chronic disease and prevent related problems. Our program can help you make decisions to live more healthfully.
This program offers support to help people with chronic diseases manage and improve their health. The program focuses on topics that come up when dealing with any chronic condition, such as: nutrition, exercise, medication use, emotions, problem solving, and action planning.
The workshop takes place over 6 weeks for 2.5 hours per session. For more information, or to sign up, please contact Rebecca Best at 802-251-8604.
