After an injury, illness, or a surgery nothing is more important than getting your life back to normal. Brattleboro Memorial Hospital (BMH) Rehab Services is there to help.

At BMH you’ll find our staff of physical, occupational, and speech therapists ready to offer their expertise and help you get your life back on track. Our spacious, fully-equipped outpatient facility located in the Vermont Marketplace on Canal St. in Brattleboro offers the largest rehab facility and the largest rehab staff in the area.

At BMH you’ll get one-on-one care and attention during your treatments.  As a hospital-based clinic we can provide comprehensive care for all of your rehab needs in one convenient location.

Our rehabilitation team provides consultation and/or treatment for a variety of problems including but not limited to:

About our staff

All of the Rehab staff at BMH are licensed professionals who will evaluate your needs and work with you to achieve your goals for therapy. Your program will focus on helping you to recover quickly and on educating you on how to maintain your health. We provide one-on-one evaluation of your rehab needs and design an individualized treatment plan. The large staff in our hospital-based facility allows us to draw upon a wealth of knowledge to provide you with the most effective treatment.

Our therapists and assistants are experienced specialists who help individuals with health problems resulting from injury or disease. Our therapists work with people of all ages to assist them in the recovery process – making them stronger, relieving pain, helping them regain the use of an affected limb, or relearning skills such as walking / dressing / bathing.

  • Appointments for physical and occupational therapy services are available from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
  • Speech therapy is by appointment.
