Everything I Know About Conscious Grieving I Learned from my Dog
Presented by: Cheryl M Richards, Brattleboro Area Hospice Bereavement Counselor
Location: BMH Brew Barry Conference Room
Conscious grieving offers a quintessential experience of life’s riches seen through life’s losses. In a story of love and loss as her dog was dying, Cheryl discusses the transcendent relationships that can occur between species, and what animals can teach their human partners about consciousness, life, and renewal. By learning to embody the experience of conscious grief, participants can hone their ability to be a present and effective resource for their own and others’ grieving journeys.
