BMH Touch a Truck Returns for 2012

The gigantic pile of mulch brought in for last year’s Touch a Truck fundraising event at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital was such a hit that they’re bringing it back again for 2012! On Saturday, September 8, 2012 from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM, children ages 2-12 will once again have the chance to sit in the driver’s seat of the big rigs and industrial vehicles, explore fire trucks and a school bus and play in the mulch pile.

With more than 50 vehicles coming to the BMH parking lot this is a chance for your son or daughter to get an up close look at dump trucks, tow trucks, garbage trucks, road graders, pavers, tree trimmers, steamrollers, police cruisers and motorcycles, among other eye-widening vehicles. Make sure to bring your camera in order to capture and share these lifetime memories.

Tickets are $5 per person ($15 for families of three or more) and can be purchased at the event or in advance online. Once again, the entire event is horn/siren free this year and the first 200 children will receive a free toy truck.
