Emily (she/her) is a board-certified nurse-midwife and registered nurse who received her Master of Science degree in Nursing from Oregon Health & Science University. She previously received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Gender Studies at the University of Connecticut. Emily was drawn to midwifery because of the relationships she can build with patients.

Whether during prenatal care, routine wellness visits, or acting as a detective to figure out a chronic concern, she enjoys working to meet everyone’s goals. Emily understands that visits can be anxiety provoking and strives to provide a supportive and calm experience. Emily is a member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives.

Her interests include contraception counseling, prenatal and postpartum care, IUD and Nexplanon insertions, and LGBTQIA+ health. Outside of work, Emily enjoys midwifing her garden, cooking, walking, and wrangling her two kiddos.
