Cardiac Rehabilitation at BMH
Cardiac rehabilitation is a comprehensive 12-week outpatient program of risk factor modification, education, and exercise specially designed for people recovering from heart attacks, heart surgery, angioplasty, having stents put in place, or continued angina symptom.
Cardiologists Mark Burke, MD and Michael Cohan, DO offer their expertise to heart patients by diagnosing the problem and then prescribing the treatment which can range from medication, exercise, dietary changes to cardiac catheterizations. Patients needing cardiac catheterizations are referred by Drs. Burke and Cohan to our tertiary medical center, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center for those procedures.
