Cardiac Rehabilitation at BMH

Cardiac rehabilitation is a comprehensive 12-week outpatient program involving risk factor modification, education, and special excercises designed for people recovering from heart attacks, heart surgery, angioplasty, having stents put in place, or continued angina symptom.

Cardiologists at BMH’s Center for Cardiovascular Health offer their expertise to heart patients by diagnosing the problem and then prescribing treatments that can range from medication, exercise, and dietary changes to cardiac catheterizations. Patients needing cardiac catheterizations are referred to our tertiary medical center at Dartmouth Health.
