March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month

Brattleboro Memorial Hospital is honored to recognize March as National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month.

We encourage most people to schedule a colonoscopy every ten years starting at the age of 45.

If your your physician should find any pre-cancerous polyps during your colonoscopy, he/she can remove them and prevent cancer from occurring.

And when caught early, colorectal cancer has a 90 percent survival rate.
