Provider Orientation

Kathleen McGraw, MD

Dear Medical Staff Member,

It is my pleasure to welcome you to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital (BMH).  We hope you find that living and working in this vibrant Vermont town brings you great satisfaction and joy both as a clinician and as a community member.

As a new BMH Medical Staff member, you are required to successfully complete a comprehensive provider orientation.  This process is designed not just to meet regulatory requirements (though certainly it does that), but also to give you an overview of what we do here; our services, our systems, and our processes.

We also want to be sure you know how to access available resources. This orientation will acquaint you with our medical staff governing documents, hospital governing documents, and policies.  In addition it will give those employed by BMH information about our benefits.

Please contact the Medical Staff Office if you have any questions about any of these documents, the orientation process, or any questions or feedback at all.  We want to hear what you have to say!

Our goal at BMH, as you know from our logo, is Exceptional Care for Our Community.  Our vision is to provide the Best patient care experience – every patient; every time, and to be the Best place to work – employees/volunteers/medical staff.  We are committed to helping you do what you do best – to capably and compassionately care for our patients.  You are joining an outstanding community of medical professionals.  We are so glad to have you here with us!

Best,

Kat
